General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Foundation
The foundation certificate provides an understanding of existing UK data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK Data Protection Bill.
This course help you understand how these laws are applied in practice and its importance for any organisation holding personal information.
Candidates will acquire a sound grounding in the key elements of data protection law and its practical application.
Who can take this course?
Anyone who needs to understand data protection and GDPR. The course provides a foundation level knowledge of UK Data Protection and GDPR laws. However some knowledge of data protection law would be an added advantage.
What is the format of exam?
The exam is of one hour and ‘closed book’. There are 40 multiple choice questions that are asked in the exam. You must achieve 65% to pass the exam in other words you must write 26 correct answers out of 40.
Where can I take the exam?
Option 1: With an accredited training provider
Option 2: Online (at a test centre: Pearson Vue).
This option will be made available from mid 2018 onwards.
